Advice for parents

  1. From the beginning of the school year, teach your child to wake up earlier so that going to school does not turn into daily worries, wake your child up in the morning with a smile and a kind word.
  2. Do not rush, calculate the time – it is your duty if you have not solved this problem – there is no fault of the child in this.
  3. Be sure to teach your child to eat breakfast in the morning. This is an important point in the prevention of stomach diseases.
  4. Give the child a sandwich and fruit at school, he spends a lot of strength and energy at school.
  5. Teach the child to collect the briefcase the day before, check in the evening if he has not forgotten anything important. Ask her if the teacher communicated any requests or orders to the parents. After some time, the child will get used to being more conscientious about his duties and will become more collected.
  6. While walking the child to school, wish him success, say a few gentle words, without reservations, such as: “Look, behave well!”, “So that there are no bad grades!”, and so on. The child has hard work ahead.
  7. Forget the phrase “What did you get today?”, but rather ask: “What new thing did you learn today?”. Meet the child calmly, do not ask him a thousand questions, give him the opportunity to relax (remember how difficult it was for you after a stressful day). When the child is excited and wants to share something with you, don't deny it, listen.
  8. After the lessons, let the child rest. Lunch is usual for this. A schoolboy can talk about his working day and in this way free himself from psychological tension.
  9. If the child is withdrawn, something is bothering him, do not demand explanations, let him calm down, then he will tell himself.
  10. Listen to the teacher's remarks without the child present. After listening, do not rush to start a fight. Talk to the child calmly.
  11. Homework for 6-year-old children is not set during the year in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
  12. During the day, find (try to find) half an hour to communicate with the child, and during this time the most important things should be the child's affairs, his pain, his joys.
  13. The family should have a single tactic of communication between all adults and the child. Resolve all differences regarding the upbringing of the child without her. When something does not work out, consult a teacher, a psychologist. It will not be superfluous to read literature for parents, there you will find a lot of useful information.
  14. Always pay attention to the health of the child when something bothers him: headache, bad general condition. Most often, these are objective indicators of fatigue, overload.

We wish you and your child success!
